Happy New Year

It’s that time of year when we reflect on what has been and what is yet to come. We look at goals still to achieve and new ones to set.

Many people are talking about dry January, one which is banded around time and time again, I am not knocking it, and admire those who achieve it but equally the naughty side of me feels, if out celebrating the New Year in, have you not failed already when at midnight you need to toast the New Year in.

This made me think, why not instead set an easier and longer lasting goal, something that would potentially benefit our health throughout the year; something like only drink at home if friends are coming over and again if you are going out with friends. By doing something like this for twelve months rather than being an absolute saint for a month, potentially we could benefit more.

I realise I am more or less saying what I said last year, set goals that are achievable, why set yourself up to fail?

I would like to thank all my readers for your support and wish you and your families exactly as the picture says, A Happy & Healthy year ahead.
